Cherry Creek Happy Hour: $5 Apps, $5 Beers, Twice a Day

Cherry Creek isn't exactly known for bargains. That's part of why our happy hour has turned into a neighborhood regular's secret: it runs twice a day, every day, and the food is a lot more interesting than bar snacks.

When

Every day, 4 to 6pm and again from 8pm to close. The early one is for after work. The late one is for after everything else.

What's on it

$5 appetizers

Momo (five pieces), vegetable samosa, onion bhaji, gobi Manchurian, chicken sekuwa, and chicken wings. The momo alone are worth the trip.

$5 beers

Kingfisher, Taj Mahal, Singha, Kirin Ichiban, Barahsinghe from Nepal, and draft.

$10 cocktails

House drinks like the Kathmandu Cream, The Everest, Tama Tama, and mango margarita, plus classics like the mojito and old fashioned.

Wine

Glasses of red and white from $8, and La Marca prosecco for $5.

How to do it right

Two people, two cocktails, a plate of momo, and samosas comes out to less than a single entrée at most places nearby. If you're hungry, stay for dinner. The happy hour food is a good preview of the menu.
